Pisces New Moon & Spring Equinox - A Powerful Threshold Moment - 20, March, 2026

How are you doing? It’s been a while. 2025 was quite the year. I hope you are well—or at least still in one piece!

I couldn’t let this day pass without getting in touch. We are standing at such a powerful threshold.

In the early hours of yesterday morning, the New Moon in Pisces arrived—opening a new chapter. New Moons always bring new beginnings, and the days that follow offer a potent window for intention-setting, healing, and manifestation.

But this New Moon is a little different.

Pisces is the 12th and final sign, and this lunation lands at 28 degrees—right at the end of the zodiac. This is completion energy. The closing of a long cycle, both personally and collectively.

And then—almost immediately—we shift.

Today, Friday, the Spring Equinox brings the Sun into Aries at 0 degrees—the very first degree of the whole zodiac. The astrological New Year. The first spark. The first breath.

We are moving from ending into beginning. From dissolution into ignition.

This is a rare, liminal moment—like standing at the very end of the birth canal, just before new life.

This is more than just a time for setting intentions, it is an alchemical moment of transformation—for mind, body, and soul

THE BIGGER SHIFT

There’s a reason this moment feels so charged.

Since 2020, we’ve been living through the collapse of old systems and identities—externally and internally. It’s been a long process of stripping away outdated structures, conditioning, and inherited patterns.

It hasn’t been easy. For many, this time has felt like a collective dark night of the soul.

Things intensified in 2025 when several slow-moving outer planets reached the final degrees of their signs.  This marked the crisis and completion point of some very long cycles. We may have felt the push-pull of expansion and contraction… glimpses of forward movement, when these planets moved into their new signs, followed by deeper clearing when they went retrograde and moved back into their previous signs again.

But now, in 2026—the year astrologers have been waiting for—the tide is turning.

Neptune and Saturn have moved into Aries, and Uranus will make its final shift into Gemini in April.  By late spring, we are in completely new territory.

This is why 2026 is being hailed as a year of activations and initiations. The planetary alignments forming now are unprecedented. We have never had these combinations of planets all moving into new signs at the same time before. It is a complete energetic reset.

We are finally emerging from this profound period of release and we are on the brink of a giant leap forward.

And this New Moon and Equinox, is our gateway.

Over the coming days, we are invited into the medicine of Pisces.

This is not about logic or control. It’s about intuition, surrender, and deep listening. Guidance may come through dreams, feelings, and synchronicities rather than clear plans.

Because this New Moon sits at the very end of the zodiac, it offers a powerful opportunity to release what we are ready to leave behind.

Slow down. Ask for insight before sleep. Notice what is arising.

And most importantly—let go.

At the same time, there is quiet, forward momentum building.

Jupiter—the planet of growth and opportunity and traditional ruler of this New Moon—has just turned direct after months of being retrograde, and is forming a supportive trine aspect to Mars in Pisces.

This energises our dreams and helps bring our inner vision into motion.

So, while we are releasing the past, something new is already stirring.

There is movement here—but it is not forced. It is guided.

THE EQUINOX: MOVING FORWARD
